The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, August 9, 2024.
Arrests: On August 14, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., the Morrison Police Department arrested James M. Searcy, 43, Morrison, IL, in the 100 Block of W. Wall Street, on a Civil Order of Commitment. Searcy was transported to the Whiteside County Jail in Lieu of a $300 cash bond.
On August 14, 2024, at approximately 3:07 p.m., Morrison Police Department responded to the 100 Block of W. Wall Street for a report of a possible Violation of Order of Protection. Upon arrival, James M. Searcy, 43, Morrison, IL, was arrested and charged with Violation of an Order of Protection (Class A Misdemeanor) and Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer (Class 2 Felony). Searcy was transported to the Whiteside County Jail. Morrison Police was assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and Morrison Ambulance Service.
