On her Thursday morning walk June 27, 2024, the Editor stopped two members of the City of Morrison, IL, Public Works Department. She complimented them on their efforts to care for the cemetery grounds.
In Grove Hill Cemetery, the men were mowing copious quantities of grass along E. High Street. Cemetery Sexton Trey Strating is at left with Michael Smith.
It takes a squad to maintain our attractive public spaces. Public Works employees who mow the Morrison Sports Complex are Chase Newman, Carson Strating, and Jim Workman.
