Arrests: On Saturday, June 22, 2024, Morrison Police Department responded to the 300 Block of S. Cherry Street, Morrison, IL, for a report of a hit-and-run accident. After an investigation and assistance from the public, Morrison Police Department charged Matthew J. Buck, 38, Prophetstown, IL, with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Improper Lane Usage, and Duty Upon Damaging Unattended Vehicle or Other Property. Buck was given a Notice to Appear in court at a later date.
