On Saturday, June 22, 2024, 11 Morrison and Prophetstown, IL, Boy Scouts and four adults departed on a memorable trip to Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch in Custer, SD.  Morrison Troop 96 Leader Augie Ufkin earlier noted, “The young men will experience the farthest camping destination Troop 96 has ever taken.”

On Friday evening June 21, participants and family members had met in Morrison United Methodist Church’s parking lot to pack.  There was considerable gear to load into Boy Scout Troop 96’s trailer, including individual plastic totes for the boys, backpacks, ice chests, gallons of water, sleeping bags, snacks, etc.!  Marshall Blevins secured two mountain bikes in the back of his truck, which would pull the trailer.  Noah is pictured in the back.
