headstartblocksBob Filner stated, “The government gets it right on Head Start.  We are providing opportunities for children in underserved areas, where parents may not be able to afford preschool, so they can begin their schooling with a running, or ‘head,’ start.”

Head Start is celebrating 50 years of proving services Nationwide to children and their families.  It provides services to children ages 3-to-5 in our community.

Please come join us to learn more about this comprehensive program on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.  The location of the event is Morrison Head Start, in the Open Bible Fellowship Church, 11429 Ward Road, Morrison, IL.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact instructor Aubrey Fisher at the classroom 815-772-8008.

“Head Start graduates are more likely to graduate from high school and less likely to need special education, repeat a grade, or commit crimes in adolescence,” remarked Joe Baca.
