Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 W. Park Street, Morrison, IL, will host a special event of interest, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend this free program in the sanctuary. Men, women, and children will be inspired by this powerful and timely message of love and forgiveness.
The Church will host “A Night with Corrie Ten Boom,” who will come alive before you, in a first-person portrayal by Gayle Haas, from Aurora, IL. You will be stirred by her dramatic presentation and PowerPoint. She shares Corrie’s experiences while growing up with her family in Haarlem, Holland, and–later–during the family’s commitment to hide and aid many Jews in their efforts to escape Nazi capture during WWII.
Their efforts would eventually lead to the family’s capture and Carrie’s imprisonment in a Nazi death camp.
Preceding the program, the “Annual Mother/Daughter/Friend Banquet” will take place in Fellowship Hall, starting at 6:00. Fulton Locker will serve a catered dinner to females of all ages.
Call the Church office at 815-772-2472 with questions or to purchase dinner tickets by Sunday, May 5:
Adults $10
Children 5-12, $5.
