Just before 3:00 p.m., on Friday, March 1, 2024, the five-member Morrison High School Scholastic Bowl team was given a send-off by staff and students. The first floor hallway was lined with applauding well-wishers, as Coach Brian Bartoz and teammates processed to the lobby, for a few quick photographs. They left shortly after, to attend State competition tomorrow.

To qualify for State, Morrison had won the last of their seven Sectional matches on Saturday, February 17, defeating
1. Ashton-Franklin Center (250-210)
2. Polo (290-90)
3. Milledgeville (310-80)
4. Erie-Prophetstown (210-200 in a quadruple overtime match)
5. Fulton (210-180)
6. Eastland (250-120)
7. Amboy (240-80.)
A dozen pieces of winning hardware are displayed in a lobby case. There is room for a new trophy or plaque!
