On Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., 20 men and women visited together inside The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, enjoying conversation and home baked items.  Once-a-month, early gallery openings are designed as cozy times to meet with others in a welcoming atmosphere.  Stop in next month; Third Thursday will be March 21.

Prolific Loft Artist Lloyd Beckman and his wife, Linda, hold his newest art pieces to be offered for sale.  Intricately-painted wood bowls shimmer with color.  Between them lies his cylindrical baby rattle, which can be personalized for gifting.

From left-to-right are Andrea Dalton, Mona Milder, Brenda Adams, Artist Sharon Boyles, Monica Anderson, and Carol Oncken.

Left-to-right at another table were Volunteer Pat McGarvey, Nan Shambaugh, Nancy Usterbowski, Mary Ellen Brackemyer, and Artist Everett Pannier.

Shambaugh stated she was attracted to floral paintings.  She stands with McGarvey, before several of Artist Joan Vander Bleek’s paintings.

Left-to-right in a third group were Dee Janssen, Beckman, Artist Barney Habben, and Steve Janssen.  In the background are Artist Joan Vander Bleek and Linda Beckman. Other attendees were Martha Kophammer and Ned J. Nesti, Jr.
