Referenda for County Schools and Morrison Streets Pass

Throughout the day, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, 17,814 citizens cast their votes. The majority of them chose to fund two 1% retail tax referenda. 

  • In Morrison, IL, 59% of the 1413 voters agreed to pay one cent more on the dollar–on some purchases–to fund street repairs. 
  • In Whiteside County, IL, 51% of the 17,355 voters agreed to pay one cent more on the dollar–on some purchases–to fund school infrastructure costs.
