Continuing Care Facilities will celebrate before Hallowe’en.
Homestead Assisted Living & Memory Care, 403 Scenic Street, will treat youngsters in the inside common area, on Thursday, October 26, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, invites youngsters to trick-or-treat outside, on Thursday, October 26, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. If the weather is inclement, they will move inside.
Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, 500 N. Jackson Street, will meet children in the dining hall, on Saturday, October 28, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
Churches have festive opportunities, too.
Morrison United Methodist Church will host a family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat event for the community, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., in the Church parking lot, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
Bethesda Lutheran Church, will host an inside Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday, October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the Church basement, 301 W. South Street.
Brethren in Christ Church, 209 E. Knox Street, will hold Trunk-or-Treating on the grassy area south of the church, at Madison Street and Lincolnway, on Tuesday, October 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Crossroads Community Church, 201 W. Market Street, will offer free Walking Tacos and treat bags, on Tuesday, October 31, from 3:30 to 6:30–or until they run out.
Emmanuel Church will host a Tuesday, October 31, Trunk-or-Treat event, in their gymnasium at 202 E. Morris Street. Hot chocolate will be available to all.

Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will host a Trunk-or-Treat on the playground of Southside Elementary School, 100 Academic Drive, on Thursday, October 26, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. All students Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited.
Morrison Key Club members seek door-to-door donations, on Tuesday, October 31. A dozen or more High School students will canvass the City in small groups. You will know these “big kids” who knock on your door are Key Clubbers, by the bags and orange UNICEF collection boxes they present.
