Morrison Chamber of Commerce and Cottonwood 4-H Club are excited to announce the Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Preregistration takes place before the parade begins at 1:30 p.m., in front of Community State Bank, 220 E. Main Street, in downtown Morrison, IL.
The costume parade has become Morrison’s most popular Halloween event, drawing hundreds of participants. It is fun, creative, and entertaining for the entire community.
The Chamber distributes treat bags to the first 300 children. Trophies are awarded for Most Original, Cutest, and Scariest/Funniest costumes, for each age group. Prizes also will be awarded to Top Group costumes.
On Friday, October 31, Trick-or-Treat hours in Morrison are from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Drivers should exercise additional caution as youth traverse the streets.
