Round up your brightest coworkers, friends, and family and prepare to match wits with fellow trivia enthusiasts! If you’re looking for a fun night out this month, “Odell Public Library Friends” has you covered. The Friends invite you to a Halloween-themed Trivia Night on Saturday, October 18, 2014, in the Oak Room Restaurant at Prairie Ridge Golf Course, 903 W. Morris Street, Morrison, IL.
Adding to the fun, teams are welcome to dress in costume, but it is not required.
Although the decor may scream Halloween, trivia categories will cover a little bit of everything. So there is truly a category for which everyone can contribute. Who knows? For example, you just might be the team’s “Disney Theme Park Rides” or “Spice Girls Songs” expert.
Registration and dining begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a rollicking night of trivia at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Odell Public Library in their purchase of books for the general adult population.
Come for supper. Chicken or bean tacos, chips, homemade salsa and guacamole, margaritas, and pop will be available for purchase. A portion of food and beverage sales also benefit the Odell. After four rounds of ten questions, a dessert auction will be held. The highest bidding team wins first pick of desserts. There will be coffee during intermission.
If you’re feeling lucky, there will also be a 50/50 raffle.
Cost for Trivia Night is just $10 per person, with eight people to a team.
To register your team, stop in or call Odell Public Library at 815-772-7323. Please provide a team name and the names of each of your players. Individuals may also register; we will find a team for you to support.
