Timothy A. Carmichael, age 49, died on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, IA.
He was born in Geneseo, IL, on June 26, 1974, to Patrick Carmichael and Joyce (Bloomquist) Carmichael, and was the eldest of two children. Tim enjoyed building things and spending time at home with his wife and dog, Nina. He prided himself on his green thumb and could be seen bringing any plant back to life. Tim will be remembered as a simple, complicated man, but one who loved and was loved by those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie; parents, Bob and Joyce (Carmichael) Greeley; children, Devan (Zack) Irvin, Kyrstin Skiff (Evan Robeson), Ashlyn May, and Noah May; sisters, Traci (Anthony) Walden and Angela (Simmon) Bjork; six grandchildren; niece and nephews; many friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
