Morrison High School Key Club and Kiwanis Club offer the public a summer cookout, tasty snacks, and refreshing soft drinks, during their Saturday Sandwich Sales. Stop by the “sandwich corner” at U. S. Route 30 and Cherry Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for grilled sandwiches.
Proceeds benefit Kiwanis Club’s numerous service projects:
1. financial support for Morrison Charitable Food Pantry NFP
2. April House Children’s Advocacy Center
3. up-to-four scholarships for graduating MHS students
4. Morrison Day Care
5. Morrison Little League Baseball and Softball
6. Morrison Historical Society
7. Morrison Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
8. United Way Literacy is Fun for Everyone
9. Odell Public Library
10. Morrison High School Key Club
11. therapeutic horse riding through WHOA.
Bring your Mustang-sized appetite! Options include Ribeye Sandwich $8; Pork Chop Sandwich $4; Brat Sandwich $3; Hot Dog $3. Bottled water and pop are $1, and chips are available for $.50.
Key Club and Morrison Kiwanis Club thank Community State Bank for use of the parcel at U. S. Route 30 and Cherry Street for events each year.
