Carrie J. Muntean, 77, of Sterling, IL, died Monday, September 15, 2014, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.
Carrie was born July 26, 1937, in Sterling, the daughter of John and Katherine (Fowler) Doty. She married Harold Muntean on July 7, 1957, in Sterling. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sterling.
Survivors include her husband of Sterling; one daughter, Tammy (Michael) Winstead of Emerson, IL; two sons, Michael (Lori) Muntean of Emerson, and Todd Muntean of Morrison, IL; one sister, Connie (Robert) Olds of Thomson, IL; one brother, Dennis (Judy) Doty of Harmon, IL; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2014, with the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sterling, IL, with the Rev. Brandon Nelson officiating.
Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
