The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, June 30, 2023.
Arrests: On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Morrison Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Wall Street, Morrison, IL. During the stop, it was discovered Gamaliel Ruiz-Barrera, age 23, from Morrison, had no valid Driver’s License and was driving under the influence of alcohol. Ruiz-Barrera was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Thursday, June 22, 2023, at approximately 5:56 p.m., Morrison Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at 501 W. Wall Street, Apartment 2, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Steven Blair, age 69, of Morrison, with Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor.) Blair was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
