Morrison Firefighters hosted their annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with seating inside the Morrison Fire Station, 206 W. Main Street in Morrison, IL. Waiting in a long line, left-to-right, are friends Mitchell Johnson, Brenden Martin, Skylar Drolema, Cole Bland, and Troy Baker. They would be served pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, milk, and/or coffee for a donation. Piles of pork patties were grilled outside by, left-to-right, Toby King, David Dykstra, and Brian Johnson.
MFD wrote, “Morrison Fire Department has been lucky to have the support of such a great community. With all your support, we have been able to purchase new SCOTT Air Packs. We are currently in the process of upgrading our main line engine….We also have a thermal camera that needs to be replaced. Thank you for your continued support.
