On Saturday, May 13, the Art Show aligns with the 25th Anniversary recitals by Jennifer’s Dance Center, owned by Jennifer Bielema. Two recitals will be held in Morrison High School’s auditorium, 643 Genesee Avenue, at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before the performances; tickets are $14.
During both days of the K-12 Spring Art Fair a variety of media will be displayed, filling lobby and halls from ceiling to floor. There is at least one item from “99% of the kids,” noted Junior High Art Teacher Jamie Harmon. “The public may vote for their top three art works from each of the District’s school buildings,” she added.
On Sunday, May 13, Morrison High School Band students will perform at least six songs in Pep Band, pop-rock style, from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Junior/Senior High Band Instructor Kelsey Pudlas added, “We will reprise ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’ [from past Football half-time shows.]”
