You are invited to celebrate Good Friday together as one united Church community. All are welcome. Short, different, worship services will be held inside two locations in Morrison, IL.
The Morrison Ministers Council will host their annual Good Friday Community Cross Walk on April 7, 2023. We will begin at 12:15 p.m. on the Nursing side of Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue. Use the left doors, when looking at the building from the parking lot.
We then will walk, sharing the carrying of a cross, to Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care, 500 N. Jackson Street. Gather in the Cafeteria.
Parking is available at Morrison First Baptist Church next to Resthave. New this year, you can park at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church LC-MS, 601 N. Jackson Street (across the parking lot from Pleasant View), and take the bus down to Resthave. The bus will leave St. Peter at 12:05 p.m.
The bus also will be able to take those who prefer to not walk or drive to Pleasant View up the hill and will bring people back to Resthave.
