Traci Heusinkveld has moved “down the street” and offers services and products in her five specialties:  tans, tees, treasures, trims, and tutus.

The Morrison Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, August 22, 2014, to celebrate the opening of the Morrison Specialty Shop at 123 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL.  A large group of well-wishers, that included family, friends, former colleagues, staff, and Chamber of Commerce members, was on hand to celebrate the shop’s opening by owners Mark and Traci HeusinkveldTraci is shown holding the ceremonial scissor; Mark was unable to attend.

The rehabilitated door is a perfectly portable display piece that belongs to Morrison designer and vendor Terri Engelkens.  In a small space, she combines various items crafted from sterling flatware, such as mobiles, pendants, keychains, and magnets.  Additional magnets are displayed on two painted tim trays.  Individual computer keyboard letters allow you to personalize your wee magnet.  Buttons, stones, and glass are other options.  Engelkens sells felt bracelets decorated with buttons and preciouse baby shoes modified as pincushion.  She calls her craft business Terri’s AnTweaks.
