Eugene A. Brinkman, age 94, died Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Homestead of Morrison Assisted Living, in Morrison, IL.
Eugene was born on April 11, 1928, in Tampico, IL, the son of George and Arvilla (Buchwald) Brinkman. He married Beulah Rosene on January 2, 1949, in Tampico. She preceded him in death October 22, 1999. Eugene was employed as Maintenance Supervisor with Frantz Manufacturing for 28 years. He was an avid photographer, enjoyed farming, and loved to travel. Eugene served his Country in the United States Army and was a member of the Rock Falls American Legion Post 902.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Geeting of Rock Falls, IL; son, William (Sue) Brinkman of Lyndon, IL; son-in-law, Warren Gilbert of Polo, IL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Georgiann Gilbert; grandson, Joseph Geeting.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bree Truax officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established to Homestead Assisted Living and Rock River Hospice.
