On Monday, August 11, 2014, American Legion Post #328, 306 E. Main Street, in Morrison, IL, had a new American flag installed. Member Milton Bush, Morrison, routinely brings his lift to handle this task.
The flag was retired due to wear. Post Commander Dale Usterbowski stated the “old” flag was only a couple months old. “The wind takes its toll on them! We probably replace the flag every three months.”
Old Old Glory will be burned at a retirement ceremony in the future.
