The April House Advocacy Center Golf Outing is Saturday, September 27, 2014, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, Morrison, IL. The four-person best-ball scramble is $60 per individual–which includes 18 holes of golf with a half cart and lunch.
Monies raised will support the work of April House, Whiteside County Children’s Advocacy Center, 501 N. Madison Street, Morrison. Tiny but comfortable, the building is a short-term haven for child victims of abuse or violence. Here, in security and complete privacy, they give testimony to Dr. Johanna Hager.
April House is the only agency in Whiteside County to provide specialized services exclusively to children who have been abused or neglected. The golf outing is a major fundraiser to assist the facility.
