State Representative Ryan Spain announced the beginning of his Winter 2023 photo contest, to bring the 73rd District to Springfield, IL. Participants will submit a photo that best represents the people and places of the 73rd District. Winning photos will be displayed in Rep. Spain’s Springfield and Peoria, IL, offices.
“It is so important for me to keep at forefront my District and its people while serving in Springfield. This is…another way to help share the story of the people and places. The more submissions we have, the more we can show off our region to the rest of Illinois.”
Rep. Spain will choose winning entries and invite the photographers for an unveiling at the Peoria or Springfield office. Photos will be on display for the term of the 103rd General Assembly.

Photos must be taken in the 73rd District (see map at repryanspain.com.)
Photos must be taken during this winter, December 22 through March 20, 2023.
Photos are due Tuesday, March 21.
Photos must be sent in high resolution.
Include the photographer’s name, home address, email, phone number, and where the photograph was taken.
