Today, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, is the 156th anniversary of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s birth. On February 7, 1867, the second daughter of Charles and Caroline Ingalls was born on a wintry day, inside a cabin in the Wisconsin “Big Woods” near Lake Pepin. She died at age 90 on February 10, 1957.
