Red Cross Assist 12 Affected by Home Fires

Editor’s note: American Red Cross was able to help a Morrison, IL, family in 2020, when their home burned.

American Red Cross volunteers in the Northwest Illinois chapter responded to four home fires in Rockford, Loves Park, and Belvidere, IL, in the week prior to Monday, January 9, 2023. Additionally, ARC provided assistance to 12 individuals, including three children, by supplying them with basic items to meet immediate needs after a fire, and additional support of health and mental health services and one-on-one support.
