Help us build the Morrison, IL, Winter Park at Waterworks Park. We are a group of Morrison volunteers committed to improving winter family and recreational opportunities, for our citizens and neighbors. We want kids and families to have opportunities for activity, exercise, and fun in the long winter months.
Our first step is to acquire a temporary ice rink for winter recreation, improve the sledding area, and add lighting, to provide seasonal events during Winter 2022. Our goal is to raise $10,000 from individuals and through corporate sponsorships to get us started.
A community donor has generously agreed to match your donation! We welcome donations of all sizes.
We will recognize the following levels of support on Facebook and with a banner on-site (unless you wish to remain anonymous):
$100 – Snowflake
$250 – Snow Day
$500 – Snow Angel.

The Morrison Winter Park is a community collaboration among the City of Morrison, various community organizations, businesses, and individuals. The Winter Park will be a program offered under the City of Morrison’s Recreational Programming, but funded and operated by community volunteers.
