Morrison Area Community Foundation (MACF) awarded $2000 in grant funds to April House Childrens’ Advocacy Center. They have recently relocated to 101 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. For 20+ years, April House has been working with a team of professionals, giving children a voice to the sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or exploitation they have experienced. April House is the first, safe place that children can tell their story, in their own words.
Last year 174 children went to April House to be heard; were believed; were given comfort, support, and resources.
