The Loft of Main will host a “drop-in” ornament painting party between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. This creative endeavor is planned for men, women, boys, and girls of all ages. The location is 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL. The public is invited to create a unique piece of art to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. There is no charge.
About 500 unadorned ornaments were made of salt clay (flour, salt, and water.) Choose from seasonal shapes: snowperson, bell, star, tree, wreath, gingerbread person, teddy bear, circle, or heart. Each will be enlivened with supplied tempera paint, donated by CAPA.
Completed art pieces will remain on display on the gallery tree until December 10 or after.
