Carolyn A. Strand, 72, of rural Dixon, IL, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling, IL.
She was born April 9, 1942, in Ashland, WI, the daughter of Fred and Idelia Seim. She married Charles Warren Strand on July 9, 1960, in Superior, WI.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charles L. Strand of rural Morrison, IL, and Warren (Ami) Strand of Compton, IL; one daughter, Valerie (Connie) Hayden of Rock Falls, IL; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
At her request, there will be no services.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
