To All Affected Residents:
For precautionary measures only, please be advised that the City of Morrison, IL, has issued a Boil Order to include ALL residents living on Maple, Cedar, and Ash in the City of Morrison. Residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking and cooking for at least five minutes before consuming it, until further notice. This Boil Order is given as a precaution only. There is no evidence the water is unsafe.
The Boil Order was declared due to a water main break.
The Order will be in effect until water samples show that the water is safe. Residents in the affected area will be notified when the Order has been lifted, or [they] may call City Hall at 8215-772-7657 to inquire.
