Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, June 13, 2014.
Arrests:
On Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Betty J. Spangler, age 45 of Morrison, IL, in the area of E. Lincolnway and Bishop Road for a registration violation. As a result of the traffic stop, Spangler was released, but the vehicle was seized pending further investigation. On Thursday, June 19, 2014, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Spangler was arrested and charged with Operating an Uninsured Vehicle (traffic citation) and Unlawful Possession of a Certificate of Title without Complete Assignment (Class 4 Felony.) Spangler was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail pending a bond hearing.
On Thursday, June 19, 2014, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Nathan Q. Sandell, age 22 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Ogle County, charging Sandell with Failure to Appear–Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sandell was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
