The Clintonish Knitters are taking reservations for the 5th Annual Knitters’ Market Bus Trip to Schaumburg, IL, on Saturday, August 9, 2014. The cost for the trip, including the market ticket, is $30. Non-knitters are invited to join us for a day of shopping at IKEA, Woodfield Mall, Streets of Woodfield, and Woodfield Green. A free trolley transports you between all the venues.
Trip expenses must be covered on or before Tuesday, July 1, or the bus will be canceled. If you have questions please leave a message at 563-243-8592 or stop by during a knitting session for additional information.
The Clintonish Knitters meet on a drop-in basis at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to about 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and noon. All are welcome, and there are no fees.
The church is located at the foot of the Gateway Bridge, on the corner of 8th Avenue South and Third Street, in Clinton, IA. Please use the east entrance. We appreciate St .Paul’s for donating our meeting space.
On August 9, the bus will begin in Morrison, IL; pick up in Clinton, departing at 7:15 a.m.; stop in Dixon, IL, if requested. This is a non-profit trip, so any extra ffunds will be distributed as door prizes.
