Arrests: On Friday, August 19, 2022, at approximately 8:01 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 16180 Greenland Drive, Morrison, IL, regarding a welfare check and a possible violation of an Order of Protection. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Michael A. Vegter, age 29 of Morrison, with Violation of an Order of Protection (Class A Misdemeanor.) Vegter was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
