Opening Public Comments, at the Monday, June 13, 2022, Morrison City Council meeting, carried tones of discontent. Presenters voiced regrets that “Action” items relating to the Sports Complex were not part of the evening’s agenda. The standing-room-only crowd, most of whom had attended the previous Council meeting, echoed the disapprovals of Joy Tegeler, Shawn Swain, and Jill DeRycke.
Detailed Action items filled the Agenda as details were offered for the Council’s approval.
A) Street Projects: MFT and Rebuild Illinois funds will be used for engineering services by Wendler Engineering Services on the following streets:
Heaton: Hwy 30 to Railroad
Main: Heaton to Orange
Genesee: Winfield to Wall
Cherry: Winfield to Wall
Jackson: Wall to Route 30
Jackson: Route 30 to Knox.
The City Council closed and entered into an Executive Session.
