Perhaps you saw and/or heard a large number of motorcycles roar onto the downtown streets of Morrison, IL, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, about 1:00 p.m. They added shine and color in the early afternoon sunshine, as they arrayed their vehicles in clusters.
The group was on a fundraising cycle ride to support a Sterling, IL, man, Troy Boss, who is a cancer patient. One hundred-ten supporters of Boss shared a short Whiteside County, IL, ride from Sterling, to Morrison, Lyndon, and Rock Falls. Then there was a hog roast and silent auctions to bring financial assistance to Troy Boss.
