Chief Brian Melton, head of the Morrison, IL, Police Department, discussed his career in Law Enforcement, during a visit to Morrison High School’s Period 4 American Government class, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He provided an overview of various State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies that serve the public.
Chief Melton discussed attributes needed to succeed as a Police Officer; the rewarding and challenging aspects of the job; advantages and disadvantages of pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.
Chief Melton also took questions from students during his visit.
