Edwin “Joe” Lowder, Jr., 84, of New Bedford, IL, died Saturday April 30, 2022, at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation in Morrison, IL.
Joe was born July 25, 1937, the son of Edwin Lowder, Sr. and Trena (Hartke) Lowder. He married Renate Apenborn on May 29, 1960, in Rock Falls, IL. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2020.
Survivors include his daughter, Sylvia Urban of New Bedford; son, Arthur Lowder of New Bedford; brother, August Lowder of Walnut, IL; two granddaughters, Heather (Tyler Binam) Urban and Tiffany (Chris Pini) Urban.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dolly Schoaf.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation.
A memorial has been established.
