A community library has one purpose. That is to serve its patrons, from all ages, helping to educate, inform, and find enjoyment in the countless books on the many shelves. Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL, has throughout its history served its community well! Every year new readers are introduced to the library, and the love affair begins.

Jessie Wroble, mother of Winnie, said, “My family and I adore our library, and we feel blessed to have such an amazing resource in our community. Odell has been well-loved over the years, by children and adults alike, and it began to show [wear and tear]. Caring for and revamping our library is key to preserving it for the next generation.”

Anne Mills is pictured with her children, Sam and Amelia. “I love that libraries are a welcoming place for all ages and at all stages of life. I have such good memories of Odell Public Library from my childhood, and I love that my children are now making wonderful memories of their own here.”
