Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following arrests made and citations issued since Friday, May 16, 2014.
Arrests:
On Sunday, May 18, 2014, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Mitchell L. Dolieslager, age 32 of Morrison, IL. The traffic stop occurred in the area of W. Wall and S. Base Streets, Morrison, for a moving violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Dolieslager was arrested and charged with Disobeying a Traffic Control Device, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol (Driver), and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Dolieslager was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear for June 26, 2014.
