“We are holding a benefit on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Cross Creek [Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road, Morrison, IL,] for little Parker Pruis,” stated Leslie Harridge.
“He is the son of Caitlin and Casey Pruis, who reside in Morrison. Parker is four months old and has Hydrocephalus. He has already had three brain surgeries. He will live with a shunt [to drain excess spinal fluid] for the rest of his life.”
The summer fundraiser includes
- 4-person golf scramble (register at 10:00 a.m.; shotgun start at 11:00)
- 6:00 p.m. dinner (pulled pork or chicken sandwich, baked beans, pasta, and potato salad)
- silent auctions
- a 50/50 raffle
- a hog raffle
- music by “30 West.”
