The Morrison Mustangs ventured north to invade the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference and challenge the Milledgeville, IL, Missiles, on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Starting slowly and trailing 12-8 after one quarter, the Mustangs–behind Trey Strating’s eight, second quarter points–captured a half time lead of 31-25. They kept the Missiles at bay the rest of the game, to take home a 61-58 victory.
Milledgevilles’ Connor Nye led all scorers with 19 points, followed closely by
Morrison’s Andre McQueen with 18 points and Trey Strating with 17.
