Jane E. (Bristle) Apple, 74, of Morrison, IL, died on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling, IL.
Jane was born on February 18, 1947, in Morrison, the daughter of Jay and Evelyn (Hannis) Bristle. She married Eugene Apple on September 26, 1970, in Rock Falls, IL. Jane was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling. She enjoyed Packers football and collecting and making crafts. She loved, and was very proud of, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jane worked as a Beautician at Self Help Enterprises for several years and as a Beauty Consultant at Walgreens.
Survivors include her son, Charles Apple of Davis, IL; daughters, Christan (Brent) Schrader of Prophetstown, IL; Sara (Jeremy) Dolezalek of Savoy, TX; brother, Gerald Bristle, and sister, Linda Ingold, both of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren, Jacob Apple, Molly Apple, Mackenzie and Jay Schueler, and Laura, Adam, Rosalynn, Maria, and Dominic Dolezalek; four great-grandchildren Paisley, Bowie, Jagger, and Kensley.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Apple; daughter, Lisa.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-to-6:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue, Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Deacon Ken Funk officiating.
Cremation rites will follow.
