Susan Lynn (Rick) Williams, 68, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her home in Morrison.

Sue was born April 29, 1953, in Morrison, to Glenn and Florence (Imel) Rick.  She was a 1971 graduate of Morrison High School and later graduated from Western Illinois University.  After graduating, she worked as the Office Secretary at General Electric, where she met and later married her husband, Ron Williams.  They were married on November 7, 1974, in Morrison.  After starting their family, Sue returned to work part-time as a Waitress at the VFW.  Later, she worked as Office Manager at the Regional Office of Education in Sterling, IL, and most recently retired as the Superintendent’s Secretary for the Erie[, IL,] School District.  Sue was an active member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.  She enjoyed crafting, boating, golfing, cooking, baking, and traveling.  Some of her favorite travels took her to the Lake of the Ozarks and Florida, with her family and friends.  Sue greatly enjoyed staying busy, shopping, and socializing with friends.  She loved decorating, entertaining, and hosting for the holidays.  Above all, she enjoyed being Grandma “Mimi.”

Survivors include her husband, Ron; son, Curt (Lori) Williams of Morrison; daughter, Abby Bush of Morrison; three grandchildren, Preston and Paisley Bush and Chance Williams; sister, Linda (Lew) Elijah of Michigan; brothers-in-law, Richard Tadsen of Carroll, IA, Roger Williams of Prophetstown, IL, and Larry Williams of Missouri; nieces and nephews, Glenn Elijah, Jeff (Caryle) Tadsen, DeeDee (Nelson) Castro, Roger Williams Jr., Tiffni Williams, and Kili (Mike) Bielema.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Emily Tadsen.

Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL, with Pastor J. T. Bean officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m., to 6:00 on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.

A memorial has been established to Ebenezer Reformed Church., Morrison, IL.
