Morrison Community High School Class of 1966 celebrated their 55th reunion on Friday, October 1, and Saturday, October 2, 2021. The class began their weekend celebration with a “Meet & Greet” night at The Double G Saloon in Morrison, IL, where class members and guests reminisced over their years at MCHS.
Ladies from the class enjoyed breakfast on Saturday morning at Family Chef Restaurant in Morrison.
The reunion was held at Triple P BBQ in Rock Falls, IL, on Saturday evening. There were approximately 22 class members and 10 guests that attended. Several members traveled from Tucson, AZ, and Asheville, NC. The class hopes to celebrate their 75th birthdays with a special gathering in 2023.
Committee members included: Stephanie (Busing) Heflin, Andrea (McDougall) Dalton, Barb (Zuidema) Hahn, Peggy (Swanson) Belha, Sheila (McGarvey) VanKampen, Mary Jo (Olson) Garesche’, Dale Armstrong, and Arlyn Deets.
