MACF Grant to Morrison Lions Club

Posted by

Morrison Area Community Foundation (MACF) is pleased to announce it has awarded a grant to Morrison Lions Club.  The grant will help fund construction of a picnic shelter/pavilion at the Morrison Sports Complex.  The Morrison Lions Club feels that this type of structure would benefit a wide portion of the population of Morrison, IL, not to mention people visiting the Sports Complex from other towns.

Lions Club member Steve Wroble said, “This is a project which we hope to have completed by the end of the summer.”

Many families have children who are currently or will be participating in the sports supported by the Complex.  A picnic shelter/pavilion would be utilized not only by the young athletes, but also by parents, grandparents, and other relatives for shade and picnic opportunities.
