The Annual Wa Tan Ye Brunch will host Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton, with a program about scams, frauds, and what to do if you have been a victim. The brunch is Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
Breakfast casseroles, muffins, rolls, bread, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice are on the menu. The cost is by donation ($7 is suggested.)
Proceeds support various Wa Tan Ye community projects, such as a scholarship, United Way of Whiteside County, WHOA, Morrison Community Hospital Foundation, The Caring Closet at Morrison High School, and others.
Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, requests that attendees use the parking lot on the west side of the building; use that entrance only.
Masks will be required when not eating.
