“On the Move with Parks and Rec” of Morrison, IL, has been selected for a chance to win a 2021 “PetSafe® Bark for Your Park™ Grant.” Winners will be chosen by the amount of enthusiastic, community email voting, submitted once a day. The voting period runs Tuesday, August 3, through Tuesday, August 31. Begin today to help Morrison receive funding to build the Bark Park fencing. Anyone over the age of 18 who lives within the U. S. may vote.

Thirty U. S. communities have been chosen to try for funds to build, or improve, a local dog park. Morrison is one of those 20 finalists in this grant contest, to build a new park!

Finalists were chosen from a panel of PetSafe® judges that scored each grant request submission on the level of enthusiasm and support for a dog park project within the community, and on the impact a dog park project will have on the community.
Participants entered to win funds for either a new park or to improve an existing dog park. Following the contest voting period, five communities with the highest votes will receive $25,000 for the construction of a NEW park, and five will be awarded $5000 TO ENHANCE their local dog parks.
Celebrating ten years in 2021, PetSafe® will award prizes totaling $150,000 to ten deserving communities. Since introducing the program in 2011, PetSafe® has donated more than $1.5 million, to support more than 70 off-leash dog parks in the United States.
