McDonald’s Will Assist Morrison Wrestling

Business owners in small towns are asked repeatedly to fund causes.  Each donation eats into their small profit margin.  So, it is especially helpful when they make “in-kind” donations–if not in cash, then in services, materials, site usage, or promotion and publicity to assist a fundraiser.  In-kind donations are a valuable asset during fundraising, often with no monetary drain on the giver.  Swapping services is another means for businesses to partner.

Morrison McDonald’s, 606 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, is one business that does not make direct sponsorship donations.  However, they arranged a financial support opportunity after Gable’s event.  It is on Monday, April 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

McDonald’s restaurants willingly hold community “Family Fun Night” events and share 20% of the sales during a specified time period.  The public can participate in the Morrison High School Wresting fundraiser on Monday, April 7, while enjoying a snack, beverage, or meal.

That simple action also will support a local business in its policy of community outreach.
