After months of research and attempted repairs, thecity1.com‘s new, WordPress content management system went live at five, the evening of Thursday, July 29, 2021. The Editor and Rob Fulton (Morrison Computer Repair, LLC) have begun to set things in place. On Friday, July 30, four Opinions/Editorials and six political cartoons were posted. Also, the dual Memorial Service for the Vegters was reposted on the Obituaries page. Some articles that did not carry over to the new site will display over the weekend. The attractive visual presentation of thecity1.com has remained much the same. Enhanced features will appear throughout August: the Community Calendar will grow; some banner ads, polls, and the Classifieds page will be reinstalled. Stay tuned.
